Greenmeadow Pool & Park   Party and Rental  Guidelines

Members are allowed to bring 4 guests per week - per family.  For example, a family of 1 or a family of 10 is allowed 4 guests total per week.

 

More than 8 people in a group is considered a party and subject to the pool party guidelines. For the park, groups of 24 or more are considered a party and subject to the party guidelines.

 

GMCA functions take priority over all parties.  All GMCA functions are booked as far in advance as possible to eliminate cancellations, but a conflict may arise.  The manager will do everything possible to eliminate this.

 

There will be no parties scheduled during prime holidays.  4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween, etc.

Greenmeadow Pool

 

Greenmeadow Pool may be booked for a party or social function during the pool season which typically runs April through October. More than 8 people in a group is considered a party.  Pool parties may be reserved by full swim or associate members.  The member booking the party must be present for the duration of the party.  Parties should be booked one calendar week in advance and are subject to staff availability.

 

A deposit and the signed rental agreement must be filled out at the time of booking.   In the case of a last minute gathering of more than 8 people, please call the Executive Director in advance to make sure there are no other parties, space is available, and that there is adequate staff to ensure the safety of all patrons. 

 

The Executive Director has final say in the number of parties allowed.  The guideline is 1 party at a time.  This will eliminate the possibility of imposing on the other members, or overcrowding the pool.  In some cases, depending on the size of the group, age of attendants, time of year, etc, more than one party may be booked at an overlapping interval.

 

Pool parties with 12 people or fewer are not charged a rental fee.  All attendees of the party (all people of the group inside the pool gate) are counted toward the group size - regardless of how many people swim. A deposit and the signed rental agreement must be on file a minimum of 1 week in advance to confirm the reservation.

 

Pool parties over 12 people must be booked at low impact times or during closed hours.  The rental fee for swim members is $50.00/hour while the pool is open, and $100/hr when the pool is scheduled to be closed.  When the pool is scheduled to be closed, there is an additional hourly charge for lifeguards, dependant on the number of people in the party.  The pool may be reserved after hours by non-members at $150/hr.

All parties must end by 10 pm, and vacate the entire facility within 30 minutes of the end of the party.  This includes locker rooms and any necessary cleanup.

 

There is a $50 rental / cleaning deposit required for all parties.  This will be returned as long as the facility is left in the same / acceptable  condition.

 

 

Greenmeadow Park

 

Greenmeadow Park is available year round for parties and events.  The park can be reserved by calling the Executive Director at the Greenmeadow office at 494-3157, or requests can be made by email to info@greenmeadow.org  

 

Parties of more than 24 people will be charged $25.00 per hour. Non-Members may reserve the park at an hourly rate of $50.00 per hour.

 

The amount of space reserved in the park will be based on the size of the party.  However, the entire park will not be reserved for any 1 group.

 

For groups less than 24 people who want to use the park, please notify the GMCA office in advance.  Groups or Parties on the calendar will have priority over non-scheduled groups.

 

Tables and chairs are available for rental.  The parties requesting such items are responsible for all set-up and take down.  Arrangements for these items must be made in advance.  Please contact the GMCA office for rental charges.

 

All parties must end by 10 pm, and all party garbage should be bagged and thrown in the dumpster in the parking lot.
